For over 30 years, Milkco Inc. has provided the highest quality products and exceptional customer service, made possible through their continuing innovations. Choosing to ship in corrugated boxes instead of milk crates was the first of many bold decisions that have contributed to their success. Today Milkco produces 21 different private label product lines that include not only fluid milk products but also fruit juices, drinks, and water. They do all this from their 145,000 square foot facility in Asheville, North Carolina.
With the continuing changes and innovations Milkco has implemented throughout the years, there’s one that has remained constant- their All Star Purchasing membership. All Star’s group buying power has been instrumental in negotiating very competitive deals on many products, from milk cartons, resin, labels and caps to cleaning chemicals and lab supplies.
Two All Star programs that really stand out are corn sweeteners and resin. These two categories have helped Milkco remain competitive in an ever evolving industry.
Keith Collins, President of Milkco Inc.,says:
“All Star gives you the clout of a much larger company when trying to maximize your purchasing power. We are a strong supporter of All Star Purchasing and we believe very much in their programs.”
As an All Star Purchasing member for nearly 30 years, Milkco and their employees have benefited from many of the association’s programs. Several of their employee’s family members have been recipients of the All Star John D. Utterback Scholarship, and Milkco has developed a network of All Star members through which they purchase other products and services.
As Milkco Inc. continues their legacy of high quality products and customer service through innovation, All Star Purchasing will be there, as we are for all of our members, innovating cost savings for their success.
